“We Were Traumatized” Diana Bahati Reveals Daily Beatings They Endured from Their Divorced Father

Among the famous Kenyans, Diana Bahati is well known to the general population.
She is well-known for being the spouse of politician and well-known musician Bahati.
She has described the terrifying ordeal of having their father raise them.
Diana Bahati claimed that everytime their father returned from work, he would yell at them and physically abuse at least one of them.
“We were raise by dad and househelps who would leave within a short time due to dad’s harshness,” Diana stated.

“If I was not the one getting a beating, then it was my sister Val and rarely, Michelle. It got to appoint were traumatised and kept asking what we did to deserve the maltreatment.”

 
The sisters said that when they requested that their mother come and pick them up, she made good on her word.
Sadly, she never followed through on her promises and never showed up to help.
Diana and her sister Michelle continued by saying that their father’s injuries left them with wounds that they still bear.
“The beatings forced their other sister Val to run away from home at some point.” Marua explained.
Diana pointed out that all of the difficulties her father was facing alone parenting, financial strain, and job stress, were the cause of his scolding.
Diana claimed that the family moved when Diana’s father felt compelled to hunt for a run-down home nearby.
“He called a mkokoteni (handcart) pusher and since he had no money for the second guy, he pushed it from behind. That is something I never thought he would do due to his Luo pride.”
Diana continued by saying that this is when things got the worst for them because they couldn’t pay their rent and school expenses.

 “Things went haywire as we were chased from school due to outsizing fees, the landlord asked us to move out, and we had debts everywhere. We even had a book listing our debts in the shop.”
Despite the horrible event she experienced when she was young, Diana Marua is now a well-known personality to many.
